After making that statement, I used Google to find out if I had any reason for feeling that way and came across the below:
"How come?" or "Why?"
Popular Opinion- Technically it would not necessarily be wrong but many English teachers and professors prefer why because it is more mature-like and understandable without sounding like a child.
Whiny is bad and will never get good results. I feel your pain, sistah.
